Keira Chatwin
Founder & President

Having been personally affected by her grandparents' Alzheimer's, Keira started Decoding Dementia to spread awareness and relevant information about dementia. She's currently a senior in high school, but outside of school she loves spending time with her cats, playing field hockey, and performing on-stage!
Shriya Ravilisetty
Publicity Lead​

My name is Shriya Ravilisetty and I am so happy to be your Publicity Lead. I joined Decoding Dementia for my interest in the medical and for the fact that I support that this organization stands for and want to spread awareness to more people. A fun fact about me is that I want to become and OB/GYN when I am older because of my passion for women's health and pediatrics.

Hello! My name is Brittany, I joined this program in hopes of broadening my own understanding of dementia and to work with the team to help heighten the awareness of dementia and the detrimental effects of such disorders with the everyone!
Akshita Biswas

Having an interest in the field of biology and neuroscience since a very long time, I wanted to be a part of Decoding Dementia and help advocate for those suffering from it. Outside of school, I enjoy sketching, playing the piano, and traveling! I am so excited to work with everyone!
Mithilya Raj
Publicity Lead​

After watching her grandmother suffer after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Mithilya joined Decoding Dementia to help spread awareness about this life-altering disease and its effects. As of 2022-23, she is a junior in high school and loves to put things together, which explains her love of robotics and sculpting.

Brianca Higuera
California Chapter Lead​

After witnessing her own family and those of loved ones suffer from brain and memory-related diseases, Brianca has joined Decoding Dementia to spread awareness of Dementia and its affects on the brain. She is currently a Junior in high school awarded for academic excellence by the College Board. Outside of school she enjoys reading classic Spanish and Italian literature, learning and teaching languages, spending time with her younger sister, and volunteering at her local hospital.
Amalia Costa
Rhode Island Chapter Lead​

Having been affected by my aunt's dementia, I joined Decoding Dementia in order to spread awareness, information, and support for family members. I am a current high school senior and incoming freshman at Northeastern University studying Behavioral Neuroscience. Outside of school I love spending time with friends and family, running, and music!
Kanishka Suri
Texas Chapter Lead​

Decoding Dementia has an impactful set of values such as demystifying neurodegenerative diseases, which inspired me to apply. I am currently a sophomore in high school who loves spending time doing wildlife photography, listening to music, and volunteering!
Mahgul Fatima
Pakistan Chapter Lead​

Fascinated by neuroscience, Dementia is something that keeps Mahgul up at night, due to its lack of awareness and it having no such "cure", hence in order to play her part and learn more, she decided to join Decoding Dementia. In her free time, you will find her researching about the brain, playing genshin, and obsessing over cute stationery.
